The student will master the writing system and pronunciation of Classical Biblical Hebrew, the morphology of nouns, adjectives, and regular verbs (Qal, Niphal, Piel, Pual, and Hithpael stems), and the basics of clause -level prose syntax, and will also memo rize (for Hebrew to English recall) approximately 275 vocabulary items (Ross, Introducing Biblical Hebrew , lessons 1-28).
