Catalog description

This course offers a broad introduction to theory, research, and application in social psychology, the scientific study of psychological factors and influences in group behavior. This involves the study of the individual in group situations, and th e influence of the social environment on individual behavior and development. Theoretical and applied social psychology are evaluated in view of Catholic anthropology and Christian ethics. Prerequisite : PSYC 201* or COMM 200.
