Lecture, 4 hours. Musical form and analysis of the Baroque and Classical Eras: Principles of eighteenth-century counterpoint, harmony and Classical styles. Completes the study of Common Practice Period Harmony. Compositions in prescribed styles. Prerequisites: MUSC 104, MUSC 105, MUSC 206 and MUSC 208 taken concurrently.
