INTRODUCTION TO MUSIC

Catalog description

A course for non-music majors that explores music as one of the fine arts and as an integral part of liberal arts studies. The course will increase students’ enjoyment and understanding of music. Students will approach music as both an intellectual and emotional activity and will gain knowledge of the elements of music theory, history and performance.
