Catalog description

This course provides an intermediate survey of the broad developments of warfare throughout history. Students examine the development and implementation of military technologies and strategies across the battlefields of Europe, Asia, and the Americas and c onsider political, social, and cultural history through the lens of conflict. Possible topics include Medieval Warfare, the Napoleonic Wars, Great Battles of History, and Naval Warfare. Prerequisites: HIST 101 and HST 102.
