Catalog description

This course focuses on how countries interact with one another in the short -run determination of output, interest rates, exchange rates, and on capital flows between countries. The course emphasizes the evolution of the world monetary system since 1945; financial and non-financial theories of short-run fluctuations of output in an open economy and of the exchange rate; and current macro-policy problems of developed and developing countries.
