Catalog description

This course deepens the analysis of ECON 202, focusing on contemporary theories of consumer and firm behavior, prices, and resource allocation using mathematical tools learned in MATH 250, especially multivariable derivatives of functions. Examines firm behavior for several market structures, with a critical evaluation of the economic means used to achieve the ends of efficiency and equity. Prerequisites: ECON 202 with a minimum grade of B-, MATH 250.
