Catalog description

A study of the processes, materials and equipment used in the manufacturing of micro and nano-electronic devices. Topics will cover the different processes, equipment and measurement tools used in the industry. It is important for students who are training for technician jobs in Nanoelectronics to have a working knowledge of the processes and equipment used in the manufacturing of nano-scale integrated circuits. This course has a lab component where the students will build and test simple devices on a silicon substrate.
