Nursing Skills I

Catalog description

Study of the concepts and principles necessary to perform basic nursing skills for the adult patient; and demonstrate competence in the performance of nursing procedures. Content includes knowledge, judgment, skills, and professional values within a legal/ethical framework. This course lends itself to a blocked approach. Students are petitioned into this course upon completion of their prerequisites.
