Development of the knowledge and skills required to effectively plan recreation and leisure programs that meet the physical, psychological, and social needs of participants. Major topics include assessment techniques, goal writing, developing outcome measures, facilitation and implementation techniques, adaptations, and evaluation. Fieldwork is required.
