A survey of the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social factors in human development from conception to death. This course is similar to PSYC 2308 but is more comprehensive. Honors Human Growth and Development - The Honors course provides a more in-depth study of the life-span development with emphasis on students' development of oral and written communication skills relating to the analysis and discussion of research and controversial issues in developmental psychology. Human Growth and Development: Global Studies - This course relates topics in Human Growth and Development to the diversity, complexity and interdependence of the world community and current global issues. It is part of ACC's Global Studies (GS) program but is open to all students and counts as a standard PSYC 2314 course. Human Growth and Development: Peace and Conflict Studies - This course relates topics in PSYC 2314 to questions of war, peace, social justice and conflict resolution. It is part of ACC's Peace and Conflict Studies (PACS) program but is open to all students and counts as a standard PSYC 2314 course.
