Train-the-Trainer: Sterile Compounding and Aseptic Technique

Catalog description

A course designed to instruct pharmacy personnel in the application of regulatory standards and best practices related to aseptic technique in the training and management of personnel in the sterile compounding environment. The course will provide an overview of USP<797> and related standards, as well as the policies and procedures for ACPE accredited Continuing Pharmacy Education (CEU) activities. The course will detail requirements related to the sterile compounding environment, personnel training and conduct, and testing, compliance, and documentation. This train-the-trainer course will provide the framework necessary for the learner to teach sterile compounding and aseptic technique to pharmacists and technicians in a variety of practice settings.
