Catalog description

Students study the basic skills necessary for live musical performances. The course includes an emphasis on script and score study, text preparation, singing technique, stage movement, marketing and audition tools, and rehearsal etiquette. The class focuses on art song, musical theater repertoire, and other relevant musical genres. The course culminates with a recital performance of chosen literature.
