This course studies in depth coverage of the physics behind magnetic resonance imaging. Includes the concepts and scientific principles employed in magnetic resonance imaging techniques. Topics covered in this course includes: gradient system, spatial localization, pulse sequences, flow imaging, MR angiography, spectroscopy, diffusion/perfusion studies, quality assurance, artifacts and contrast agents.
