Catalog description

A course that offers an individualized developmental math curriculum. Students will take an initial knowledge check which will generate their individualized path through developmental math. Topics include: solving linear and quadratic equations, solving systems of linear equations, operations on polynomials, use of negative exponents, operations using scientific notation, factoring, algebra of functions, inequalities, rational expressions and equations, radical expressions and equations, and applications. Students who pass MATD 0421 with a C or higher, but do not complete their developmental math requirement in one semester will enroll in the appropriate corequisite course in the following semester.
