Catalog description

Introduction to computer programming for windows. Emphasis on the fundamentals of structured design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation. Includes language syntax, data and file structures, input/output devices, files and databases. The course will also emphasize object-oriented programming with encapsulation (creating classes and instances), inheritance (defining classes the inherit data and/or methods from existing classes) and polymorphism (overriding base-class methods in derived classes).
