Internship II: Human Services

Catalog description
A paid or unpaid work experience, outside of the college that serves as a capstone course for Human Services majors. Students will develop specific goals and objectives necessary to work in human services. Students are placed in agencies in accordance with their specialty area of study - including general human services, therapeutic recreation, addictions counseling and deaf services. The course involves a written agreement between the College and a local human services provider. The students are supervised onsite by an appropriately credentialed Human Services professional. This course may be repeated. Student must obtain instructional program approval in semester prior to enrollment.
