A study of representative samples of literature, art, and music of various periods and cultures from the Renaissance through the present. The study of the interrelationships of the arts and their philosophies emphasizes an understanding of human nature and the values of human life. Humanities: Renaissance to Present: Global Studies - This course relates topics in HUMA 1302 to the diversity, complexity and interdependence of the world community and current global issues. It is part of ACC's Global Studies (GS) program but is open to all students and counts as a standard HUMA 1302 course. Humanities: Renaissance to Present: Peace and Conflict Studies - This course relates topics in HUMA 1302 to questions of war, peace, social justice and conflict resolution. It is part of ACC's Peace and Conflict Studies (PACS) program but is open to all students and counts as a standard HUMA 1302 course.
