Catalog description

A study of Earth processes and natural hazards and their influences on rocks, soils, and water and the ways in which they affect man?s environment. Investigates topics and techniques in environmental geology with demonstrations, lab activities and field trips. Emphasis is placed on water, soils, and landforms in Central Texas. Field trips will be required. Only one of the following courses may be counted toward graduation: GEOL 1301, GEOL 1305, or GEOL 1405.
