Catalog description
In Grammar 2, students will focus on using standard English grammar for academic purposes. After a review of basic verb tenses, students proceed to intermediate structures, emphasizing communicative use in both academic and non-academic contexts. This course may be repeated for up to 6 hours of credit. Upon successful completion of ESOL 0396, students should register for ESOL 0397 / COMX 4097 / IEP 0293: Grammar 3. Open only to nonnative English speakers.
