Catalog description

In this course, students will learn strategies and techniques for writing organized narrative, descriptive, or argumentative paragraphs. Emphasis is on the formation of correct sentences and on paragraph development, using appropriate grammatical structures. This is the first course in a series designed to prepare ESOL students to handle the writing tasks they will encounter in college-credit level courses and the workplace. This course may be repeated for up to six hours of credit. Upon successful completion of this course, students should register for ESOL 0372: Writing 2.
