Catalog description

This course practices the ways in which spoken English differs from written with emphasis on the strategies English speakers use to make their message very clear for listeners. Time is spent learning how English sounds that tend to challenge non-native speakers are produced, and how native speakers produce the characteristic rhythm and intonation patterns of the language.
