Academic Cooperative Internship

Catalog description

An instructional program designed to integrate on-campus study with practical hands-on work experience. In conjunction with class seminars, the individual student will set specific goals and objectives in the study of English language, creative writing, and literature. Students enrolled in ENGL 2289 will be placed in professional internships outside of Austin Community College with the goal of developing concrete market skills. These internships are opportunities to integrate academic knowledge with practical work experience in a professional setting.
