Catalog description

This course enables the student to become proficient in the installation of commercial lighting systems through study of the theory and application of electrical principles. Such study includes yet not limited to the principles of electrical voltage, resistance and continuity; and, control systems, blueprints, and hardware installation. Students will demonstrate proficiency and knowledge of test and measurement; use of appropriate tools and safety, application specific lighting controls; and, installation of conductor terminations in accordance with NEC rules.
