Deals with consumers as a whole, producers as a whole, international trade, the effects of government spending and taxation, and the monetary policy of the Federal Reserve. Macroeconomics is concerned with unemployment, inflation, national income, economic growth, and the business cycle. Principles of Macroeconomics: Global Studies - This course relates topics in ECON 2301 to the diversity, complexity and interdependence of the world community and current global issues. It is part of ACC's Global Studies (GS) program but is open to all students and counts as a standard ECON 2301 course.
