A study of programs for the school age child, including an overview of development, learning environments, materials, activities and guidance techniques. Topics covered include an overview of school age development, learning environments, materials, and activities and teaching/guidance techniques appropriate for school age children. Course includes 16 hours of field experiences per semester with school age children, age 5 to 13 years. Offered in Summer.
