Special Topics in Child Development

Catalog description

Topics address recently identified current events, skills, knowledge, and/or attitudes and behaviors pertinent to the technology or occupation and relevant to the professional development of the student. This course was designed to be repeated multiple times to improve student proficiency. Observation Strategies for Teaching - A study of attitudes and behaviors pertinent to child development and to the student's professional development. Emphasis is placed on observing and recording children's behaviors and utilizing this information in an applied setting; professional ethics; and the workplace.
