CDA Preparation for Assessment

Catalog description

Preparation for the Child Development Associate (CDA) credential assessment includes writing CDA competency statements, completing a CDA professional resource file, and preparing for formal CDA observation and assessment. CDA Preparation for Assessment is a required course in the CDA Preparation Certificate and is designed for students who have completed the Child Development course work. This course provides guidance and support for students as they complete the additional written requirements needed to apply for CDA assessment.
