Catalog description

A chronological analysis of the historical and cultural contexts of the visual arts from prehistoric times to the 14th century. Art History I and II (ARTS 1303 and ARTS 1304) may be taken in any order. Both fulfill the Creative Arts core curriculum requirement. Art History I (Prehistoric to the 14th Century): Global Studies - This course relates topics in ARTS 1303 to the diversity, complexity, and interdependence of the world community and current global issues. It is part of ACC's Global Studies (GS) program but is open to all students and counts as a standard ARTS 1303 course.
