Catalog description

A study of various methodologies and design tools used to control and improve quality, and improve manufacturing processes. Topics include the application of statistical process control, control charts, capability, lean manufacturing, DOE, Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA), Six Sigma, Total Quality Management, ISO 9000, quality tools, and ISO 13000. Course is only open to students admitted to the Bachelor of Applied Technology (BAT) in Manufacturing Engineering Technology program.
