Practicum: Role Concentration Clinical

Catalog description

This course provides a framework for assisting students with the integration of the MENP program goals. During the clinical immersion experience the student works closely with a preceptor to model the professional nursing role and assist in the transition from education to practice. Students will focus on the refinement of nursing leadership skills, care coordination, interprofessional communication and team-based care. Students will apply evidence-based practice for promotion of quality improvement and safety in the health care setting.
