Catalog description

This course surveys the principles and mechanisms of disease on the cellular and organismal levels. Underlying physiologic and pathophysiologic principles common to disease processes across the lifespan. Integration of current evidence and technologies from nursing and other disciplines. The student will explore, analyze, apply and evaluate the normal and abnormal human responses to selected pathophysiologic mechanisms and conditions.
