Catalog description

Students will gain theoretical knowledge to develop research literacy skills relevant to the delivery of care. Students will engage in the research process, from formulating clinical questions to applying findings to inform evidence-based practice recommendations. Students will also learn various research methodologies, evidence-based practice models, and the ethical considerations involved in nursing research. Students will explore how evidence-based interventions improve patient outcomes and will be prepared to contribute to the advancement or nursing practice.
