This course explores methods and materials for teaching instrumental music in both private studio and classroom settings. Students will develop pedagogical techniques, with a focus on fostering musicianship, technique, and performance skills in students of various levels. Emphasis will be placed on learning styles, lesson planning, understanding developmental stages of learning an instrument, and running a successful lesson studio.
