Catalog description

Private individualized instruction on the student's major instrument, focusing on advancing technical skills, expanding repertoire, and deepening musical interpretation. Emphasis will be placed on development of solid technique through scale work and etudes, as well as studying and preparing a one-hour recital including repertoire from various genres and musical eras.  Permission of the instructor required.
