Soil and Water

Catalog description

This course is an introduction to urban and rural soil and water science. Lectures will emphasize the inter-relationships of hydrology, hydrological cycle, landforms, vegetation, climate and geologic materials with soils and water. In addition, the course will analyze the impact of humans on the physical and chemical properties of soil and water, and issues related to soil and water distribution, usage, and management.
