Catalog description

This course is designed for students to develop an understanding of the psychosocial aspects of physical activity, sport, and healing. Emphasis is placed on the personal, social, and environmental factors that influence risk, response and rehabilitation of injury. Personal factors related to mental health conditions, neurodevelopmental and feeding and eating disorders, and behavioral health are covered within the course.
