Catalog description

The class prepares students for a study abroad experience during J- Term to Guatemala and is open only to students involved in the Guatemala Study Abroad Program. The purpose of this class is to develop a deeper understanding of how the context of children's lives influences their development by studying how it occurs within developing countries. Such study will enable us to better understand our own contexts as well as to respect and appreciate cultural differences. Prerequisites: PSYC-100 or permission of instructor. Minimum of junior standing.
