Catalog description
Using insights from the discipline, students will explore their personal and professional values, interests, and competencies, and consider the way these intersect as they consider post-graduate plans (e.g., entering the workforce or pursuing graduate or professional school). The course includes significant self-reflection and a consideration of the scientific understanding of self-knowledge (motivation, awareness, regulation, etc.) in psychology, promoting an awareness of and concern for others, and the ability to interact effectively with people of diverse backgrounds. Prerequisites: PSYC-100. Must be declared Psychology major, preferably in the junior year, or have permission of instructor.
