Catalog description
Students will learn about the operations of the nervous system related to topics like movement, sensation and perception, learning and memory, emotions, decision making, and cognitive and social behaviors. These topics will be explored at multiple levels of analysis (e.g., cellular, systems, and behavioral) and with reference to a variety of neuroscientific methods. This is a required introductory course for Neuroscience majors and an elective for Psychology majors. Psychology majors are expected to take PSYC-100 prior to taking this course.
