Intermediate Latin

Catalog description

In this course, students will gain experience in Latin texts with readings selected from the areas of lyric and elegiac poetry, philosophy and rhetoric, historical prose, comedy, satire, epic, or medieval Latin. Usually offered both fall and spring terms. Prerequisite: the beginning Latin sequence or equivalent. Course may be repeated for credit as reading selections will differ each time the course is offered.
