Integrated Anatomy for General Surgery

Catalog description
This 4-week, 8-credit hours course is designed for students who have declared general surgery or another surgical field as their specialty. This course focuses on strengthening surgically relevant anatomy understanding through region-based clinical cases, hands-on cadaveric dissection, procedural simulations, and real-time operating room experiences. Students will revisit key anatomical concepts and apply their knowledge in both practical and observational settings. This integrated approach allows students to connect foundational basic science with clinical knowledge, reinforcing the relevance and application of anatomy in surgical practice. Lecture Hours: 4 Lab Hours: 4 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
