Fundamentals of Robotics - General Surgery Externship (4 to 8 Credit Hours)

Catalog description

Students will experience the broad spectrum of our vascular surgery service, working alongside faculty and residents in all areas, including outpatient clinics, inpatient wards and surgical procedures. In this course, students will participate in all activities of the practice including outpatient clinics, inpatient wards and surgical procedures. Upon completion, students should have increased knowledge and skills in the field of general surgery and the care of surgical patients. Note that this course does not meet the requirements of the Sub-I. Lecture Hours: 15 Contact Hours: 40 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
