Acute Care Surgery Externship (4 or 8 Credit Hours)

In this course, students will experience the broad spectrum of our Acute Care Surgery and Trauma service, working alongside faculty and residents in all areas, including outpatient clinics, inpatient wards and the operating room. Upon completion, students should have increased knowledge and skills in the field of Acute Care Surgery and the care of surgical patients.
