General Surgery Research (4 to 8 Credit Hours)

Catalog description

Individual students may elect to study in-depth, for a period of one to two months, any specific area in surgery under the guidance of the faculty member most familiar with that specific area. A thesis or report on the subject chosen is a necessary part of this elective. No student is eligible for more than one such elective. Lecture Hours: 15 Contact Hours: 40 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
