Catalog description

The primary objective of this course is to provide students with an understanding of basic concepts and methods of statistical inference in the biomedical health sciences. Upon completion of the course, students should be able to understand, interpret, and critique the results of application of statistical techniques as found in the health sciences literature. This course is comprised of eight WebCT modules with voice-overs and remote administration/testing capabilities. Prerequisites: College algebra and permission of the instructor. Lecture Hours: 1 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
