Catalog description
This course is the second course in a two-course sequence in Biostatistics that offers an introduction to some of the more advanced statistical techniques used to analyze and interpret data in the health sciences and related fields. Emphasis is on applications of these methods. Topics include factorial ANOVA, multiple linear regression and correlation, ANCOVA, logistic regression, longitudinal data analysis, survival analysis, clinical trials, experimental design, epidemiology, diagnostic tests, and critical reading of the research. Prerequisite(s): STAT 7010 >= C Lecture Hours: 3 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
