Catalog description

An in-depth overview of how sport is organized, managed, funded, and governed globally. Students explore the international sport environment, focusing primarily on sports outside the USA. Topics include: global sports events, governance, key organizations, business and financial aspects, marketing, and cultural significance. By the end of the course, students will gain a comprehensive understanding of international sport systems, key trends, and the global sport calendar.
