Catalog description

Introduces the U.S. legal system, statutes, standards, and case law that establish legal responsibilities, rights, privileges, and controls related to the field of sport management. Students study and analyze the law as it pertains to sport/physical activity programs, as well as examine how courts have interpreted and applied laws. Lecture Hours: 3 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
