This course provides certified teachers an in-depth look at the historical and theoretical development of special education. Students will examine the principles and theories of learning that serve as the basis for educational models and practices used in special education practice. Special emphasis is given to recent empirical findings and their practical applications to current educational settings. Lecture Hours: 3 Repeatability: May not be repeated for credit.
